Abstract
We report here a case of a childhood scald injury where immediate first aid consisted of the application of fountain pen ink. Continuing education is required to inform parents of the use of cold water in the immediate first aid treatment of scalds. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd and ISBI. All rights reserved.
