Abstract
Reaction between CpMo(CO)(3)I and Ag[CB11H12] eventually affords CpMo(CO)(3 )(eta(1)-CB11H12), via the dimeric compound [CpMo(CO)(3)I . Ag{CB11H12}](2) which represents the first structurally characterised intermediate in a si lver salt metathesis reaction.
