Abstract
Two modulation schemes for multi-channel transmission incorporating a multi -section laser in the uplink of a millimetrewave fibre-radio system are pre sented, and the spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) of the laser determined. An SFDR for the multi-section laser of > 86dBHz(2/3) was measured for both modulation techniques.
