Abstract
To reduce donor site morbidity in the iliac crest free flap, we suggest lea ving the anterior superior iliac spine in situ, The advantages are: less te nsion on the wound, less pain, faster rehabilitation, preservation of the a bility to wear pants without braces, and a better cosmetic result through p reservation of contour.
