Abstract
MEASUREMENT of mixer characteristics provides a number of testing chal lenges since these devices feature a three-port structure as well as a nonlinear operating characteristic, This second article of a two-part series outlines the measurement of mixer conversion loss using vector network analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers (SAs), and power meters.
