Abstract
This paper discusses a mechanism whereby a sister replica unit separates fr om its template via a flip-rotation rather than by eversion. Such an unusua l process engenders a permanent antidromic sequence, as well as two (evanes cent) kinks only on the stack of the replicated chromatid. (C) 2000 Harcour t Publishers Ltd.
