Abstract
Total synthesis of (+/-)-furoscrobiculin B, a lactarane sesquiterpene isolated from basidiomycetes of mushrooms, has been achieved via an im proved synthetic route of our previous work based on a Furan Ring Tran sfer (FRT) reaction and base-catalysed pinacol-type rearrangement.
