Abstract
Nonlinear electro-optic ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) (pure and doped ) crystals are irradiated with Si & Ag ions. The defect produced by ion irr adiation is studied by means of dielectric measurements. The change in diel ectric constant after irradiation is noted. The increase in dielectric cons tant is found to be dependent on dopants in the crystals and electronic ene rgy loss in the crystals. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserve d.
