Abstract
Two patients with Parkinson's disease received treatment with ropinirole an d/or pramipexole, during which both experienced sleep attacks. These attack s may be a class effect of non-ergot dopamine agonists. Health care profess ionals should be aware of the potential of these agents to cause sleep atta cks and caution patients about this potentially life-threatening adverse ef fect.
