Abstract
We measured the FIR reflectance and Raman scattering spectra of ZnSe1-xTex/ GaAs (x = 0.08-0.93) thin films in long-wavelength range at temperature fro m 300 down to 80 K. The ZnSe-like TO and LO phonon modes were observed, res pectively, in 202 and 247 cm(-1) at a = 0.08. In addition, the ZnTe-like TO and LO modes were identified in 178 and 209 cm(-1). With a new LO-TO pair observed in all different Te composition samples of our FIR data. We identi fied the vibration modes of ZnSe1-xTex thin films as intermediate-mode beha vior.
