Susceptibility, chi(T), and resistivity, rho(T), measurements performed on
a Ce(Rh0.8Ru0.2)(2)Si-2 single crystal are reported. Both chi(T) and rho(T)
show a peak at 12 K, characteristic of antiferromagnetic (AF) order. Howev
er, their derivatives below this peak show broad maxima at 8 K, indicating
large disorder. The results are compared to those for crystals with differe
nt Ru concentrations, especially to pure CeRh2Si2 where two Neel temperatur
es T-N1 = 36 K and T-N2 = 26 K were observed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V
