Abstract
The solid solution La0.7Pb0.3Mn1-xCoxO3 (0 less than or equal to x less tha n or equal to 1) has been prepared by the conventional ceramic technique. S ingle-phase samples can be obtained for the entire stoichiometry range. The lattice parameters determined from X-ray powder diffraction show that La0. 7Pb0.3Mn1-xCoxO3 is a rhombohedral crystal structure with space group R (3) over bar c for all samples. In addition, the electrical and magnetic prope rties are also investigated. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights rese rved.
