Abstract
Recently, we have derived a tenser-type RKKY coupling for nuclear spins in Pr compounds by taking into account the degeneracy of 4f orbitals from the Anderson Hamiltonian. As a consequence of this RKKY coupling, nuclear spin order is sinusoidal or helical in general. In this paper, we study the magn etic susceptibility and the critical field for these spin orders by the mea n-field theory. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
