Abstract
We propose a device to realize Fizeau's experiment in superconductivity. Th e wave interferences are described here by an effective London penetration depth obtained from the Maxwell-London-Bernouilli theory. We claim that YBa 2Cu3O6+x. thin films grown on a substrate of high dielectric constant (SrTi O3) form a system where the Fizeau effect is large enough to be measured. ( C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
