Early-universe issues: seeds of perturbations and birth of dark matter

The signatures of events that occurred in the early universe can be seen to day on the sky in the form of large-scale structures and fluctuations in th e temperature of the cosmic background radiation. If we can read the signat ures, we can learn what occurred in the early universe and something about the physics involved.
