The composite model of a heterogeneous dislocation structure considering it
as an agglomerate of soft regions of substructure unit interiors and hard
regions of their boundaries became a useful tool of modeling of some micros
tructure phenomena. The paper compares two refined versions of the model su
ggested by Sedlacek et al. as regards their application to polygonized subs
tructures and uses them for an evaluation of the internal stress field in r
eal substructures generated by creep at high temperatures in alpha-iron and
pure aluminum, The result is compared with the macroscopically measured me
an values of internal stress.
