Abstract
A lysimeter experiment was conducted on a low moor peaty soil under pe rennial grasses. The nitrogen balance was studied with the input of di fferent nitrogen fertilizers labeled by a stable N-15 nitrogen isotope . The influence of a nitrification inhibitor on the nitrogen balance a nd on the profile distribution of nitrogen from fertilizers was invest igated.
