Abstract
Vapor deposition polymerization (VDP) is described as a new method to fabri cate electron transport layers based on poly(phenylquinoxalines) (PPQs) for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). The polycondensation reaction of te traketone and tetraamine monomers is analytically investigated within co-ev aporated layers and model systems using differential scanning calorimetry ( DSC), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), UV-VIS spectroscopy, and thermog ravimetric analysis (TGA). First two-layer OLEDs with PPQs made by a VDP pr ocess are presented. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
