Abstract
One of the most efficiency methods to eliminate organic contaminants and to disinfect water is the combination of ozone and hydrogen peroxide to give hydroxyl radicals OH. Series of experiments have been carried out in order to study the importance of the initial concentration of hydrogen peroxide i n the formic acid decomposition. Results show an optimal hydrogen peroxide concentration which maximize the yield of the process.
