Abstract
The aim of this paper is to propose an equipment for accelerated photo-degr adation testing of paper. A lamp with a spectrum in the UV-A and visible sp ectra is used, because these are the responsible of the degradation of pape r documents during their normal performance. The equipment is based in the analysis of the oxygen consumption. Three representative types of paper are tested and comparison factors between the accelerated testing time and nat ural ageing are proposed.
