Abstract
Blockers of the Kv1.3 channel, a voltage-gated K+ channel found in human T- cells, have recently been recognised as a general strategy for immunosuppre ssion. These blockers are divided into two classes - peptidyl and non-pepti dyl Kv1.3 channel blockers. This article covers the patents filed for Kv1.3 channel blockers dating from 1996 to the first quarter of 2000.
