Abstract
Potentiometric methods were developed for on-line monitoring of a thiosulfa te ion during aeration of polymetallic sulfide ore and zinc ion during the dissolution of zinc oxide. Mechanisms were proposed for these processes and verified by comparing electrochemical data with chemical analysis obtained by titrating the respective species in solution. Experimental and theoreti cal results were within 10%.
