Abstract
This paper represents an analysis of surface acoustic waves propagating in rotating piezoelectric solids. The analysis shows that a piezoelectric mate rial may not permit propagation of more than one rotation-perturbed surface wave even if both the Rayleigh wave and the Bleustein-Gulyaev wave are per missible under a non-rotating condition.
