Abstract
An aspherical supersphere solid immersion lens (ASSIL) is proposed to incre ase optical system misalignment tolerance. A few aspherical surfaces are de signed to meet different critical aberration requirements. Simulation resul ts show that the tolerances have clearly improved in two assembling directi ons.
