Abstract
Accurate results for the stress intensity factors far the asymmetric four-p oint bend specimen with an edge crack are presented. A basic solution for a n infinitely long specimen loaded by a constant shear force and a linear mo ment distribution provides the reference on which the finite geometry solut ion is based.
