Abstract
Starting from 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, the syntheses of eight nove l 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-bis-alpha-aminoacid conjugates (alpha-amino acids : DL-Ala, L-Val, L-Phe, L-His, L-IIe, L-Met, L-Glu, L-Asp) are described in detail.
