Abstract
Impaired fetal growth may cause reduced compliance of the aorta and other l arge arteries, and predispose an individual to higher blood pressure In lat er life. We found that neither low birth size nor Interaction between birth size and adult size were associated with arterial pulse-wave velocity in m en and women aged 25 years.
