Abstract
Adam9 Adam15 and Adam21, genes encoding members of the ADAM or MDC family o f metalloproteases, have been mapped to mouse chromosomes 8, 1, and 12, res pectively, using an interspecific cross. The mapping of these mouse loci an d the extrapolated loci for their human orthologs may facilitate the mappin g of diseases involving these genes.
