Abstract
Continuous wave radar data from the University of Saskatchewan summer 1981 radar auroral campaign were examined to study the variation of sp ectral width with aspect angle. In order to reduce the uncertainties c aused by refraction from strong optical forms, the data were restricte d to stable eastward electrojet events. A consistent and sharp increas e of spectral width with aspect angle was observed, in qualitative agr eement with theory.
