Abstract
Addition of pyridine to the four-coordinate cobalt(II) complex, [Co-II (oebOx)]I-3, which shows an EPR spectrum with well resolved Co hyperfi ne coupling, converts the complex into one with Co-III/ligand radical structure and an EPR spectrum with g(z) = 1.98, and g(xy) = 2.02 and n o cobalt hyperfine coupling.
