Abstract
A novel charge-transfer complex, [4-DMSP](4)[NH2Me2](2)H-SiFeMo11O40. 3H(2)O {(4-[DMSP]I = 4[p-(dimethylamino)styryl]pyridine methiodide} pr epared and crystallized in a non-centrosymmetric (space group P1) stru cture, exhibits second harmonic generation (SHG) of 1064 nm radiation with an efficiency 1.2 times that of KH2PO4 under the same conditions.
