Abstract
Acetals exhibiting surface activity in the system LiN(SO2CF3)(2)-MeO(CH2CH2 O)(4)Me can be prepared in a quantitative yield by electrophilic addition o f acetylenic alcohols to vinyl heptyl ether and divinyl ethers of glycols i n the presence of trifluoroacetic acid.
