Abstract
Two dichromophore dye molecules, 4,4'-di-{1-[1-(N,N-dioctadecaneamino)pheny lethyquinolinium bromine]-propyl}-dipyridinium bromine (QMV(3)) and 4,4'-di -{1-[1-(N,N-dioctadecaneamino)phenylethylquinolinium bromine]-octyl}-dipyri dinium bromine (QMV(8)) were synthesized and transferred onto an ITO electr ode using the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. The photocurrent generation was investigated versus applied electrode potential, concentration of the electron accepters or donor, and pH of the electrolyte.
