Jb. Hu et al., Electrochemical studies of adriamycin interaction with DNA and determination of DNA at a Ni/GC ion implantation modified electrode, ANAL LETTER, 33(9), 2000, pp. 1843-1855
The electrochemical behavior of the reduction of adriamycin at Ni/GC modifi
ed electrode has been studied by linear sweep and cyclic voltammetry. The r
eaction of DNA with ADM formed an electrochemically nonactive complex, whic
h resulted in a decrease in the ADM equilibrium concentration and its reduc
tion current. The decrease in peak current was proportional to DNA concentr
ation and can be used to determination DNA concentration. The experiments o
f AES and XPS showed that Ni is surely implanted into the surface of GCE an
d the depth distribution of Ni was in good agreement with Gooses normal dis
tribution; the implanted Ni at GCE improved the electrocatalytic activity.
