Abstract
Baritella, a new genus of Ostracoda, is described from the Devonian ro cks of Timan-Pechora province, Russia. This genus belongs to the super order Podocopamorphes Kozur, 1972, but its systematic position is not clear. Three new species belong in Baritella: B. tkatchevae, B. dmitri evae and B. pavlovskajae. All these species were found in shallow-wate r deposits of the open sea.
