Synthesis and characteristics of compounds having both photochromic and fluorescent character

Fight new compounds which have both photochromic and fluorescent character have been synthesized by esterification reaction in the presence of DCC fro m the derivatives of indolinospirobenzopyrans and coumarins, The structure of these new compounds were identified and their spectrum properties were s tudied, The new compounds were shown to be have both photochromism characte r and fluorecent character, and their fluorescent spectrum have two excitin g wavelength and two different emitting peak respectively. They were expect ed to be applied in such areas as anti-forgery materials, bio-labeling reag ents, and other multiple-functional materials.
