Abstract
The authors report two cases of benign acute pericarditis after the patient s received vaccinations against influenza virus. The diagnoses were confirm ed by serologic changes and by the findings of 12-lead electrocardiogram an d echocardiography. Symptoms and clinical status improved on aspirin therap y. The authors underline the possible mechanisms of this rare complication of influenza vaccination.
