Abstract
Microgels of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) exhibit the interesting prope rty of size contraction with increasing temperature. Fluorescent probe s, pyrene and tris(bipyridine)ruthenium, are used to monitor the above changes, and the studies are correlated with independent light scatte ring data.
