A 34-year-old African-American female diagnosed earlier with idiopathic thr
ombocytopenic purpura (ITP), lymphadenopathy, splenomegaly, uveitis, and pu
lmonary nodules, developed a subclavian artery aneurysm, and generalized an
nular osteosclerotic lesions with disabling arthralgias. Biopsies fr-om bon
e and lymph node revealed non-caseating granulomas and no evidence of malig
nancy or infection, confirming the clinical impression of sarcoidosis.
