Abstract
We measured the thermal conductivity of Kapton HN and Upilex R in the lengt hwise direction of a single layer of material. The temperature range was in vestigated 0.1-9 K for Upilex and 0.2-5 K for Kapton. For both conductiviti es, we found a linear dependence on temperature that can be ascribed to the presence of crystalline units inside the solids. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. AU rights reserved.
