Abstract
A mail survey was directed to all municipal waste, construction, and demoli tion, and other landfill facilities in Virginia. The focus of this study wa s to discern types and quantities of solid wood received at the respective facilities. In addition, the study was conducted to determine tipping fees, marketing practices, recycling method(s), landfill restrictions regarding wood, and other types of management methods for solid wood received.
