Abstract
Reaction of the pyridazine compound (1) under bar with anthranilic ester af fords an oxo derivative ((4) under bar) of the new tricyclic ring system py ridazo[3,2-b]quinazoline. Transformations to the 3-chloro ((5) under bar), 3-amino and 3-alkoxy derivatives ((6) under bar) as well as to esters ((8) under bar) have been described.
