Abstract
The modification of the thin layer chromatography method for the analysis o f synthetic water-soluble color additives in foods was evaluated with three new products: E128, E129, and E133. A research has also been carried out o n the use of E127 in sweets, candies and jelly shapes. In many samples the use of synthetic colour; was not reported in the label.
