Abstract
BenzylCo(dmgH)(dpgH)Py has been synthesized by the reaction of benzyl chlor ide with a mixture of Co-1(dmgH)(2)Py and Co-1(dpgH)(2)Py, generated in sit u, by the NaBH4 reduction of ClCo(dmgH)(2)Py and ClCo(dpgH)(2)Py. A mixture of three products is formed. The first crystal structure of an organocobal oxime with a mixed-dioxime ligand is reported. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S. A. All rights reserved.
