Abstract
Coquillettidia (Coquilletidia) crassipes is recorded for the 1st time in th e Territory of Macau, southern China. The systematics of the genus is exami ned, new species groups are proposed, and a key to subgenera and species gr oups of Coquillettidia is provided.
