Abstract
This report shows that transesophageal ethocardiography can detect thoracic pathology, in this case esophageal sarcoma, as well as cardiac and aortic abnormalities. Transesophageal echocardiography can help differentiate card iac from aortic or other intrathoracic pathology when the patient's history and physical examination do not provide enough information.
