Abstract
Density and viscosity of binary mixtures of acetonitrile with pentan-1-ol, hexan-1-ol, heptan-1-ol, octan-1-ol and decan-1-ol have been measured at 29 8.15, 303.15 and 308.15 K. The experimental values of densities (rho) and v iscosities (eta) are used to calculate excess molar volumes (V-E) and devia tions in viscosity (Delta eta). The V-E and Delta eta are fitted to Redlich -Kister polynomial.
