Abstract
We fabricated organic photovoltaic cell devices by using MEH-PPV/C-60 compo sites with various concentrations of C-60. The devices exhibit photolumines cence quenching and an enhancement in the photovoltaic effect with increasi ng C-60 concentration, both of which are associated with the photoinduced c harge transfer characteristic of these materials. For the 20 % (weight rati o C-60 to MEH-PPV) composite device, Ne observed the incident light intensi ty dependence of the short circuit current (I-sc). Our results demonstrate the potential of these materials as a new class of high-performance organic photovoltaic cell.
