Abstract
A solid solution based on Cs2Mg[Fe(CN)(6)] containing both [Fe(CN)(6)](4-) and [Fe(CN)(6)](3-) ions exhibits a green colour associated with electronic absorption spectra bands due to the outer-sphere charge transfer between c omplex anions.
