Abstract
A new fossil insect wing (Palaeodictyoptera: Breyeriidae) from West-phalian D (Upper Carboniferous) beds of the Piesberg quarry N'Osnabruck (Lower Sax ony, Germany) is described. In contrast to most of the other species of Bre yeria, the venation of B. solida n. sp. (inclusively the cross veins) is re markably strong.
